Recent Advances in Personalized Medicine

This session will bring experts to discuss some of the most exciting medical advances of the past year. Each speaker will provide a brief overview of these technologies and what factors led to these innovations. These speakers will then discuss the implications for clinical practice for both specialists and GP/FPs.

A preliminary list of topics that will be addressed in this session include: CAR-T Therapies, Artificial Pancreas, Gene editing – CRISPR, Gene therapy to treat retinal diseases, and neuromodulation to Treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea. The session will conclude with a panel discussion for participants to ask questions of the experts.
