Million European Genomic Alliance (MEGA) – Bringing Innovation into Healthcare Systems

With other regions putting significant resources behind similar initiatives, it is important that Europe remains competitive in this field given the resulting health and economic benefits.

Despite investment happening at national levels there are overwhelming reasons for a visionary but realisable genomics initiative at an EU level. MEGA would be synergistic with the national aims, projects and activity of participating Member States and provide structures and a network that can move research to clinical practice and commercial enterprise, putting these countries at the forefront of personalised medicine globally

Here we will deal with the enablers to realise this.
